Football Practices in South Charleston Saturday

Marshall University's football team will practice at South Charleston's Oakes Field Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
This year marks the fourth year in a row that Marshall has conducted a spring practice in South Charleston. Over the last few years thousands of fans have taken advantage of the opportunity to see the Thundering Herd workout in the Kanawha Valley.
Marshall University representatives will be in attendance with information on tickets and the Big Green Scholarship Foundation.
The South Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau is sponsoring several events and activities in conjunction with the practice. For more information contact the bureau at 304-746-5552.
Directions to South Charleston's Oakes Field from Huntington:
Take I-64 Exit 54 (MacCorkle Ave./US 60) Follow MacCorkle Ave. East approximately 1.2 miles to the South Charleston Ordnance Center. Just past the Mayflower Vehicle Systems plant parking area turn right onto F Street. F Street dead ends at the entrance of Oakes Field.
