Swimming and Diving Releases 2005-2006 Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall University Head Coach Leonard Kraus announces the 2005-2006 swimming and diving schedule. The Thundering Herd will open its season on the road, October 7, against Radford University.
The Herd will only make one home appearance in the 2005-2006 season on January 28, 2006 against Akron.
On November 12, Marshall will face its first Conference USA foe when the team travels to Greenville, N.C. to take on ECU. This will be the only C-USA opponent that the Herd will encounter during the regular season. Also competing in the meet will be Gardner Webb.
Marshall will face intra-state rival West Virginia University again next season. The meet is slated for October 22 in Morgantown.
"We are definitely going to be road tested next season," said Kraus. "It's going to give us a chance to see what we can do in other environments."
