HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Junior diver Casey Mulholland (Stone Mountain, Ga.) qualified to compete in NCAA Diving Zones on March 10-12 in Lafayette, Ind.
This is the third year that Mulholland has qualified for Diving Zones on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards.
"Casey was able to score on both boards at the MAC (Mid-American Conference) Championships," said Marshall University Head Coach Leonard Kraus. "This was the first year she's done that. She's just going to go into zones and try to put together the best group of dives possible."
The top six finishers in each event go on to compete at the NCAA Championships.
"This is a tough region," said Kraus. "There are a lot of good teams in this region including some Conference USA teams and Big Ten teams. We're just going to go in and do the best we can and see where we are at the end of the weekend."
Mulholland will dive in the 3-meter event on Friday and in the 1-meter event on Saturday.
