Weather Causes More Problems at MAC Softball Tournament

AKRON, Ohio - No. 1 meets No. 3 on Sunday morning in the Mid-American Conference Softball Championship Game as Marshall takes on Miami (Ohio) in an East Division showdown at 11 a.m. at Firestone Stadium.

The game, which was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, was moved back a day due to heavy rains immediately following MU's semi-final win against Central Michigan.

A victory on Sunday would not only give the regular season champion Marshall the championship sweep, it would also mean an automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals and a final win in the MAC as the squad moves to Conference USA next season.
