HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Herd will host four home games this week at the Henderson Center in both men's and women's basketball action, and the Marshall Athletic Department will be holding a number of different promotions this week for fans of all ages.

Wednesday, Marshall will host Rice in men's basketball action at the Henderson Center, with a 4 for $44 promotion. Fans can buy a group of four general admission tickets, four hot dogs, four drinks, and one bucket of popcorn for $44. This promotion will also take place for the men's game against UCF on Wednesday, March 1, at the Henderson Center.

On Saturday, the men will host #3 Memphis at the Henderson Center for a 4 p.m. start. Fans are encouraged to wear white to the game for a "White Out At The Henderson Center" promotion for the national television broadcast on CSTV. 2,000 white T-shirts will be given away, and Thunder Towels will be handed out to the first 350 students who arrive for the game. Also, the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a free commemorative "Kings of the Mountain State" poster, sponsored by State Electric. Additionally, The Extreme Team, formerly known as the Budweiser Daredevils, will perform their high-flying, trampoline, dunking act at the half of the Tigers-Herd game. Marshall's 2005 Conference USA Volleyball Team will also be honored with their championship rings at the game.

As of this release, less than 2,000 tickets remain for the #3 Memphis-Marshall men's game. A few single tickets are still available in the lower level for $19, with the remaining available for $9 in the upper level (100 remaining Reserved, the rest General Admission). The Tigers will be the highest ranked team to ever play in the Henderson Center, which opened in the 1981-82 season.

Sunday is another national television broadcast on CSTV, with the network televising the Marshall women taking on Memphis. Sunday will be "Take A Kid To The Game" day, which allows children to enter the game for free with a paid adult's ticket, with no limits on the number of children with each ticket. Also, a Marshall-Memphis men's ticket stub from Saturday will allow free admission to the women's game on Sunday. Additionally, 1,000 pom-poms and 1,000 WMUL Koozies will be given out at the game, with 1,000 Pepsi Products being given away after the game as fans leave the Henderson Center.
