Women's Golf Finishes 14th at Wildcat Invitational

Lexington, Ky. - Marshall University's women's golf team ended play in the Wildcat Invitational Monday finishing in 14th place. The team finished with a total of 988 (327, 324, 337) in the 54-hole tournament.
Freshman Rachel Halloran (Leawood, Kan.) lead the team with a 52nd place finish with a total of 240 (76, 81, 83).
Sophomore Larie Lynch (Huntington, W.Va.), who was coming off a first place finish at the Lady Herd Invitational, finished in a tie for 54th place.
University of Alabama's Courtney Harter won medalist honors and Alabama won the team title as well.
The Thundering Herd will be back in action October 15 and 16 when they are scheduled to play in the Spider Invitational in Midlothian, Va.
