Marshall Women’s Golf Opens 2026 Season At Tribe Invitational

Fall season gets underway at the River Course at Kingsmill Resort in Virginia
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Marshall Women's Golf is primed to open the 2026 fall season on Monday, competing in the Tribe Invitational at the River Course at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
The Tribe Invitational, which is hosted by William & Mary, features 54 holes at the par-72 River Course that is just a shade under 6,000 yards in length at 5,924 yards.
Marshall is one of eight teams competing in the event.
"We are excited to be at Kingsmill Resort to get the 2026-27 season going," Marshall Women's Golf coach Brooke Burkhammer said. "We've played here before and we are familiar with the course."
Action gets underway at 9 a.m. on Monday morning as golfers take the course for 36 holes of action. The final round of action gets started at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
Competing this week for the Herd in the team portion of the event are Madison Borders, Maddi Hudson, Savannah Hawkins, Taylor Sargent and newcomer Anna Grace Brown.
Teams joining Marshall in the tournament include host William & Mary, Maryland Eastern Shore, Niagara, Georgetown, Longwood, Long Island and Le Moyne.
