Women's Golf Heads To Spider Invite

MIDLOTHIAN, Va. - After a two week break, the Marshall University women's golf team returns to action with a trip to the Spider Invite, which will be hosted by the University of Richmond.

The Spider Invite is set for Monday and Tuesday. Play on both days is set to start at 8:30 a.m.

Teams participating in the tournament include: Richmond, William & Mary, Longwood, Maryland, Towson, Methodist, Bucknell, Marshall, Columbia, Appalachian state, Monmouth and The Citadel.

In its last time out, the Thundering Herd finished 14th in the Wildcat Invitational hosted by the University of Kentucky. Freshman Rachel Halloran led the team with a 52nd place finish with a total of 240 (76, 81, 83).
