Marshall Basketball Television Schedule Released

HUNTINGTON - At least three Marshall University men's basketball games and one women's game will be available to national and regional television audiences, as the Thundering Herd's television schedule and related game time changes were announced today.
The Marshall men's team will play host to defending Conference USA champion Memphis on Comcast/Charter Southeast Sports (CSS) on Jan. 12 at 8 p.m. ET. The Tigers, currently ranked No. 2 in the nation, last played at the Cam Henderson Center in February of 2006.
The Chesapeake Energy Capital Classic versus West Virginia, in Charleston on Jan. 23 at 8 p.m. ET, will be broadcast on five stations throughout West Virginia on the Capital Classic Network. The first game of the annual doubleheader against the Mountaineers, featuring the school's women's teams, will be broadcast nationwide on College Sports Television (CSTV).
CSTV will carry the East Carolina at Marshall men's tilt on Feb. 9 at the Henderson Center at 2 p.m.
Please note the two changes in start times due to television scheduling. The ECU-Marshall game, originally slated for a 7 p.m. start, will tip-off at 2 p.m. ET. The Memphis at Marshall affair, originally a 7 p.m. start, will begin an hour later at 8 p.m. ET.
C-USA secured more than 40 national television games for the upcoming season. The C-USA Men's Championship game, on March 15 in Memphis, will be broadcast by CBS while CSTV will broadcast one quarterfinal game and both semifinal contests earlier in the week.
The women's championship game will be carried by ESPN2 while the two semifinal games will be broadcasted by CSTV.
