HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University women's basketball team has announced its 2007 summer camp schedule, which consists of a youth, high school and team camp on three different dates throughout the summer months.
Head coach Royce Chadwick and his staff, along with current and former Thundering Herd players, will provide instruction at this summer's camps at the Cam Henderson Center. The camp schedule is as follows:
Little Dribblers Camp (ages 5-12)
June 11-14, 2007 (9 a.m.-12 p.m.)
$85 pre-registered/$95 walk-ups
Learn the fundamentals of the game through drills that are easy and fun to learn. More importantly, an emphasis will be placed on the value of hard work and having fun while learning the game.
Team Shootout (varsity & junior varsity league)
June 23-24, 2007 (9:00 a.m.- evening)
$30/camper - Min. 8 players/team
Get a sneak preview of your team for next season. Each team will play at least six games with a limit of 16 teams in the field. Two officials will be provided per game with a team coach provided, if needed.
High School/Junior High Skill Camp (grades 7-12)
August 4, 2007 (9 a.m.-5 p.m.)
$55/camper
One day crash course skill instruction. An intense and competitive camp that will focus on the fundamentals of basketball and position specific drills.
