Duncan Signs with Thundering Herd

HUNTINGTON - Marshall University women's soccer coach Chris Kane announced the additional signing of Scottish standout Erika Duncan on Tuesday.

Duncan is the seventh student-athlete to sign with Marshall this season and her bio follows.

Current member of the Full Scottish National team pool...Former member of the u19 and u17 Scottish National teams...Participated in Qualifying for u19 European Championship in 2006...Former club and country teammate of MU signee Sammy Hare...Has scored 15 goals for Newburgh this year in 14 matches in the Scottish Premier League.

Quoting Coach Kane - "Erika is a gifted striker with great 1v1 ability. She is a natural goal scorer with great mental strength. She has a knack of scoring big goals in big games. Also, her experiences at the International level will help with her adjustment to the college game in the States."
