Women's Soccer Signs a Transfer for Spring

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University's soccer program welcomes junior transfer, Rebecca Voss, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Voss is a native of Raleigh, N.C. and will provide depth at the defender/midfielder positions for the Herd in the upcoming season.

During the 2006 campaign, Voss played in 15 games as a defender and assisted the Spartans to the Southern Conference Championship. With the title, the Spartans earned a spot in the NCAA Championship Tournament, but was defeated by Oklahoma State, 2-0, in the first round.

Marshall is expected to sign additional players later in the spring for the fall season.
