Spider Fall Invitational Up Next For Women's Golf

MIDLOTHIAN, Va. - The Marshall University women's golf team will be back in action, traveling to the Spider Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.

The tournament, hosted by the University of Richmond, will take place at Independence Country Club in Midlothian, Va.

Marshall is coming off of an eighth place finish in its host tournament, the Lady Herd Fall Classic, which was held last week at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club in Hurricane.

Larie Lynch led the Thundering Herd with a tie for 21st place with a 16-over 160 in two rounds. She was followed by Maria Battaglia, who tied for 27th with a 163.

Following the Spider Invitational, the Herd will wrap up the fall season with a trip to the UAB Fall Beach Blast on November 3 and 4.
