This week's athlete of the week is sophomore forward Erika Duncan. The Easthaven, Scotland native notched two shots, with one placed on goal against SMU. Duncan assisted on the Herd's tying goal against the Mustangs and scored Marshall's final goal in the 3-2 loss to SMU. She scored her eighth goal of the season against Tulsa to put the Herd tied with the Golden Hurricane. Duncan started both matches and helped Marshall to a 1-1 recording during its Conference USA home opening weekend.
