Cross Country Wraps-Up 2008 Season at 2008 Regionals

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Marshall University cross country teams completed the 2008 season at the NCAA Regionals hosted by Princeton University Saturday.
The men's squad finished the meet in 16th place with freshman Matt Schiffbauer (Morgantown, W.Va.) leading the way with a time of 34:11 (51st place).
This was the second time this year that sophomore Eric Frohnapfel (Morgantown, W.Va.) didn't place first among Thundering Herd runners. Frohnapfel finished 73rd with a time of 34:44.
Two weeks ago at the Conference USA championships, Frohnapfel and Schiffbauer earned second and third team all-conference honors respectively.
Junior Allison Cox (Scott Depot, W.Va.) led all Marshall on the women's side placing 118th with a time of 25:09. Together the women's team placed 25th.
