Women's Golf Finishes Sixth In Cincinnati Spring Invitational

CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. - After the third and final round of the Cincinnati Spring Invitational, the Thundering Herd women's golf team remained in sixth place.
Larie Lynch, who was in third place after day one, completed the tournament in a tie for sixth place after shooting a 77 on Saturday. She finished with a three-round total of 226.
Twelve strokes behind Lynch was Andrea Grier, who shot a 238, tied for 23rd place. Kristina Garrett and Molly Ginger finished in a tie for 31st with a 241 while Whitney Wolejko finished seven strokes behind Ginger and Garrett with a 248.
Florida Atlantic won the tournament with a score of 910, nine shots ahead of Stetson, who shot a 919. Third was Florida International, who shot a 920. Marshall completed the tournament in sixth place with a 940.
On the individual side, Danielle Jackson of Stetson shot a 218, three shots ahead of Bambee Dela Paz of Cincinnati, who shot a 221.
The team will be back in action in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on April 7th and 8th at the Lady Eagle Invitational before traveling to the Conference USA Tournament in El Paso the following weekend.
