Marshall Falls In Second Half to Dayton, 1-0

DAYTON, Ohio - The Dayton Flyers used a second half goal to defeat the Marshall Thundering Herd, 1-0 Friday in Dayton.
Marshall (0-6) and Dayton (4-2-1) entered the second half of Friday's contest scoreless before the Flyers scored in the 57th minute when Florian DeCamps pushed a ball past goal keeper Greg Walter (Slippery Rock, Pa.) into the lower corner for the game's only score.
In the game, Walter had five saves in 90 minutes of play while his counterpart Tyler Picard only has two saves.
The Herd only managed two shots on goal against the Flyers with one coming from senior Jira Cooley (Seattle, Wash.) and the other from sophomore Sammy Boateng (Acura, Ghana).
Marshall managed eight shots in the game while Dayton had 23.
Sunday the Herd will finish up their early season tournament play against the Butler Bulldogs at noon in Dayton, Ohio.
