Cross Country to Participate in Furman Invitational

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Marshall University men's and women's cross country team is in Greenville, South Carolina, this weekend to participate in the Furman Invitational.

 

The collegiate men's 8K race gets the meet underway with an 8:30 a.m. start. The collegiate women's race starts at the conclusion of the men's finish, approximately at 9 a.m. 17 universities will compete in the event.

 

2004 Olympic Gold Medalist Joanna Hayes will be the guest speaker at Friday night's picnic. Hayes captured the gold in the 100-meter hurdles in Athens, Greece.
