HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University women's tennis team is set for a pair of matches in Ypsilanti and East Lansing, Mich., this weekend against Mid-American and Big Ten opponents.
The No. 54 Thundering Herd first plays Mid-American Conference member, Eastern Michigan University, Saturday, at the Chippewa Racquet Club at 1 p.m. Marshall and Big Ten foe, Michigan State (70th) meet Sunday morning at the MSU Indoor Facility, with first serve set for 11 a.m.
"We look forward to traveling to Michigan for a pair of good matches," Marshall's head coach John Mercer said. "We are going to hopefully put a weekend together to improve our consistency."
