Women's Golf Finishes UC Spring Intercollegiate

CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. - The Thundering Herd women's golf team wrapped up play at the UC Spring Invitational on Saturday, dropping four spots to complete the tournament in tenth place.
Larie Lynch finished the event in a tie for 16th place after shooting a team-best 82 in Saturday's final round. She finished the three-round event with a final total of 234.
Freshman Maria Battaglia was three shots behind Lynch with a 237, which tied her for 25th overall.
Molly Ginger shot a 248 while Rachel Halloran and Mary Oliver shot a 251 and 253, respectively.
Baylor won the tournament, finishing with a three-round total of 918. That was three shots better than second place South Florida and eight shots over third place Stetson. Marshall finished with a 966.
The Herd will be back on the course next Monday and Tuesday (April 6-7) at the Indiana Invitational which will be held in Columbus, Indiana.
