Women's Golf In Ninth At C-USA Championship

TULSA, Okla. - The Thundering Herd women's golf team stands in ninth place following two rounds of the Conference USA Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Marshall shot a 350 in the opening round on Monday morning before shooting a 345 in round two.
Larie Lynch and Molly Ginger were Marshall's top performers on Monday, tying for 32nd. Lynch shot an 86 and an 87 while Ginger opened up with a 91 before shooting an 82 in the second round, the lowest round of the day for the Herd.
Maria Battaglia finished Monday with a two-round total of 177 while Rachel Halloran shot a 181 and Mary Oliver put up a 184.
The top three teams enter Tuesday's third and final round within seven strokes of each other. Tulane finished Monday at +57. UCF is in second, six strokes behind the Green Wave while East Carolina is third, just a stroke behind the Knights.
On the individual side, Daniela Holmqvist of Tulane is the leader at +5. She has a lead of five strokes over Sarah Elliot of Tulsa.
The teams will wrap up the championship playing 18 holes on Tuesday morning.
