Marshall Swimming Signs Arlie Rykosky

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Thundering Herd head coach Leonard Kraus has announced the signing of Arlie Rykosky to a National Letter of Intent to compete for Marshall University starting with the 2009 2010 season.

"We are ecstatic about the talents and character she will bring to the team" Coach Kraus said.

Rykosky, a native of Metairie, Louisiana, will make an immediate impact on the team. Primarily a butterflyer and sprint freestyler, Rykosky will be able to contribute both on relays and in individual events.

Rykosky has been around swimming her entire life, and it is sport her whole family participates in. Arlie's older brother is a swimmer at LSU.
