Chadwick Cracks Women's Basketball Poll

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Thundering Herd women's basketball coach Royce Chadwick has been named the No. 7 Mid-Major coach in the nation in a poll recently released by the National Women's Basketball Insider website.

Chadwick, who will begin his ninth season with Marshall in the fall, was the top Conference USA coach in the poll and the only one to be in the top ten.

Since coming to Marshall in 2001, Chadwick has won 122 games and with a 17-15 record in 2008-09, led the team to a sixth consecutive non-losing season, the top current streak in C-USA.

He won his 500th career game and his 100th with Marshall in January of 2008 against UCF.
