HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - After a quick 48-hour layoff, the Marshall University men's basketball team will take the court on Monday evening, hosting Jackson State at 7 p.m. inside the Cam Henderson Center.

Marshall is coming off of a heartbreaking 69-68 loss to Chattanooga on Saturday evening. Down a point with 12 seconds remaining, the Herd had a chance to win the game, but an offensive foul ended the hopes of the Herd.

Sophomore DeAndre Kane was the top scorer in the contest, posting a career-high of 20. Dago Pena chipped in 12 points while Shaquille Johnson notched 10.

Jackson State comes to Huntington with an 0-4 mark following a 62-45 loss at Louisville on Saturday. The Tigers have played a rough schedule so far, beginning the season with contests at TCU, UCF, Baylor and Louisville. All four games took place on the road.

Jenirro Bush is the leading scorer for JSU, tallying an average of 13.3 PPG. Bush was the game's leading scorer against the Cardinals, posting 16.

Monday's game marks the second of four Global Sports Shootout games. The Herd will travel to Louisville on Saturday before playing host to Florida International on Monday, November 29.
