Divers Lead Team into C-USA Championships

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- The Marshall University swimming and diving program is headed to the Conference USA Swimming and Diving Championships in Houston, Texas, with events slated to start at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

The C-USA Championships is hosted by the University of Houston and will be held in the CRWC Natatorium from February 24-27. Live stats will be available courtesy of Houston and can be found here.

Leading the team are divers Rachel Hannum, Haley Holmquist and Lauren Rone. Holmquist and Hannum qualified for the NCAA Zones in the 3-meter dive with scores of 288.07 and 281.40, respectively. Rone registered for the zones in the 1-meter at the Marshall Invite with a tally of 270.30. This marks the first time multiple divers have made it to zones and will be the first individual career appearance for the trio.
