Alianna Telles Named Marshall Student Athlete of the Week

Telles went yard in two games over the weekend, to notch her home run tally to 12 on the year and tie for the lead in conference play with four long balls. Against Houston, she hit at a .455 clip, with a 1.091 slugging percentage and an on-base percentage of .455. On both occasions her home runs would tie the game to put Marshall back in the hunt for a win. After going 5-for-11 on the weekend, Telles now extends her hitting streak to four games, dating back to April 25.
