IRVING, Texas - Michaela Kissell was awarded First-Team All-Conference USA for singles and doubles, while Catherine Kellner, Isabell Raich and Dominika Zaprazna also earned conference accolades, as announced by league officials Wednesday.

Kissell was featured as the Thundering Herd's No. 1 all season, and guided MU to the C-USA championship match. The 52nd ranked player in the country posted an 18-5 singles record this spring.

Kissell and Zaprazna were selected as the one doubles team in conference to earn first-team honors. The duo holds the highest doubles ranking in conference at No. 35, and for that, will represent C-USA in the NCAA doubles tournament.

The tandem played to an 11-6 mark together, with all matches coming from first doubles. Dating back to the fall, Kissell and Zaprazna are 21-7 overall and the reigning Atlantic Region Champions.

Kellner and Raich are 2010 Third-Team All-Conference USA selections. Raich had a mark of 15-7 while playing most of her matches from third singles. Kellner led the team in wins on her way to a 22-4 overall mark and was 18-4 in fourth singles.

Kellner, along with the doubles team of Thaddea Lock and Deanna Bailey are up for specialty awards for their play last weekend at the C-USA championship tournament. Those honors will be announced Thursday.
