Lauren Rone Named Marshall Athlete of the Week

Diver Lauren Rone has been named Marshall's Athlete of the Week after her record breaking performance this past weekend against Xavier.

Rone against the Musketeers posted the all-time mark in the one-meter diving event with a score of 281.55. The junior's score qualifies her for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships to be held in Buffalo, N.Y. scheduled for mid-March.

Rone's performance has continued to improve throughout the season, as she has continued to put up strong scores all season in both the one and three meter diving events.
