Marshall Looks to Heighten Momentum

Richmond, Va. - After last Sunday's victory over St. Francis University, the Marshall women's soccer team hopes to build a win-streak as they head to the Virginia Commonwealth University Tournament. Friday, August 26th The Herd will face-off against VCU at 6 P.M. for the tournament opener.

Following Friday's contest, Marshall will play William and Mary on Sunday, August 28th at 11:30 A.M.

Marshall has only played VCU once in the program's 13-year history, and suffered a loss in 1998. The Herd will be looking to even the series Friday. Additionally, MU has never faced William and Mary.
