11/9/12

Team Notes

This is the seventh straight season-opening win for the Thundering Herd.

The 34 points difference is the largest since MU won by 45 points over Glenville State (92-69) on Nov. 15, 2010.

The point difference is the largest in a season-opening win since 2008-09 when the Herd beat West Virginia Tech by 53.

The Herd, under coach Herrion improves to 5-0 all-time on Friday's, 13-1 when it shoots 50 percent from the floor, 36-5 when it makes more free throws then the opposition, 15-2 when the opponent scores less than 60 points and 8-1 when it scores 80-89 points.
