Women's Golf Prepared for UNCW Seahawk Classic

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall women's golf is underway in Wallace, N.C. for the 2012 UNCW Seahawk Classic. The three round event will consist of 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday.

The tournament will be played at the River Landing Golf Course in Wallace, N.C. The course is a par-72, 6,1076 yard set-up .

The field will consist of Bucknell, Charleston Southern, East Carolina, High Point, James Madison, Longwood, Old Dominion, UNCW, William and Mary, and Winthrop.

Traveling for the Herd will be senior Maria Battaglia (Uniontown, Pa./Laurel Highlands High School), junior Caitlyn Morrone (Pinehurst, N.C./Texarkana JC), junior Kristyn Morrone (Pinehurst, N.C./Texarkana JC) sophomore Rachel Thompson (Mansfield, Ohio/Ashland High School), and freshman Korakot Simsiriwong (Thailand/Starkville Academy).
