Marshall Heads to Historic Penn Relays

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall will send its best to compete in Philadelphia on Thursday and Friday at the 119th Penn Relays.

The senior trio of Vanessa Jules (high jump), Jasia Richardson (triple jump) and Crystal Walker (long jump) all rank in the top 20 nationally in their respective events. Those three, along with senior Amanda Kennedy(javelin), will take part in Penn Relays' championship division against some of the best in the country.

Those competing in the college division are Asia Bange (100m hurdles), Amber Pierson and Elaine Derricott (long jump) as well as Amanda Hottenstein and Bethany Drury(shot put). Marshall will also have a team in the 4x100 meter relay, 4x200 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay.
