ON THE LEADERBOARD
A trio of Georgia squads leads the field, with GRU Augusta on top at 12-over 588, followed by Kennesaw State (18-over 594) and Georgia State (21-over 597). Winthrop's Jennifer Dilger carded a 1-under 143 for first place in the individual field.

PRATS' POINTS
Quotes by Coach Tiffany Prats:

On ups and downs on Day 1:
"Today the team got off to a good start, but the back nine of the first 18 holes got the better of us. During the afternoon round we were finally able to get four scores in the 70s on the board which is a first this season. Tomorrow we will go out and try to move up the leaderboard and improve on our rounds from today."

On how the team fared on Day 1:
"Korakot [Simsiriwong] stayed tough out there today and kept it together on the second 18 holes. Sarah [Helly] had one bad hole in both rounds but played solid golf overall. Leigha [Holt] played very consistent today. I think she is starting to feel comfortable playing collegiate golf. Gabby [Marcum] fought back with a good second 18 today. Ashley [DeMoss] hit many quality shots but let a few bad holes hurt her rounds."
