Marshall Finishes Day 1 at Fighting Camel Classic

BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Marshall women's golf senior Korakot Simsiriwong (Narathiwat, Thailand) shot a combined 14-over-par 158 to lead the Thundering Herd through 36 holes at the Fighting Camel Fall Classic at Keith Hills Country Club on Monday.
Fellow senior Sarah Helly followed with a 15-over 159 to tie for 29th place in the field. As a team, the Herd carded a 72-over 648 for ninth place, and will conclude its fall schedule in a final 18-hole round on Tuesday.
ON THE LEADERBOARD
Host Campbell leads the way overall at 17-over 593, followed by High Point at 24-over 600. Sarah Bae of High point tops the individual leaderboard at 2-under 142.
