SCOUTING THE ROADRUNNERS
Last weekend, UTSA (5-6-1, 1-3-0) was shut out by in-state rivals Rice (Oct. 3) and North Texas (Oct. 5). The Roadrunners have not scored since a Sept. 28 meeting with Middle Tennessee State. Led by Anissa Munson's 10 points (two goals, six assists), UTSA is averaging 1.25 goals on 13.2 shots per match.

Friday's match will be the first meeting between UTSA and Marshall.

SCOUTING THE MINERS
UTEP (8-5-1, 2-2-0) split a pair of overtime matches last weekend, falling to North Texas (Oct. 3) and defeating Rice (Oct. 5). The Miners claim a nine-point goal differential, outscoring opponents 20-11. Angela Cutaia tops the squad with 14 points (six goals, two assists), while Sarah Dilling has posted five of the team's six shutouts as goalkeeper.

UTEP leads the series with the Herd, 5-2, with Marshall winning the last meeting, 4-1 (Sept. 23, 2012). The Herd is 2-2-0 against the Miners when playing in Huntington, and Sunday will be the teams' first meeting at Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex.
