@HerdMSoccer Set for Final Home Match Saturday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- After defeating Asbury 4-0 on Wednesday, Marshall's men's soccer team (6-8-3, 3-4-1) will take on the Concord University Mountain Lions (2-13-1, 2-10-0) Saturday at 1:30 p.m. on Hoops Family Field at Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex. The game will be senior day for Marshall's Danny Sellitti (Las Vegas, Nev.).
HAVE YOU HERD?
Marshall played its first nonconference tune-up for the Conference USA tournament (Nov. 12-16 in Norfolk, Va.) on Wednesday and defeated Asbury 4-0 at Hoops Family Field. Junior Austin Klueh (Loveland, Ohio), sophomore Ryan Forde (London, England) and junior Nick Edginton (Wellington, New Zealand) all scored goals for the Herd.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAIN LIONS
Concord is 2-10 this season and 2-2 in the Mountain East Conference. The team competes in NCAA Division II and is located in Athens, W.Va. in the southern part of the state. The game against Concord was a late addition, due to the cancellation against Oakland on Sept. 5. Royale Johnson leads the team with four goals this season.

"We are ready for this game to help us get our possession and team focus down for the Conference tournament next Wednesday. We are hoping to get a good game from Concord. They're better than their record suggests and they play in a tough conference."
GLOSTON NAMED CONFERENCE USA DEFENDER OF THE WEEK
Marshall men's soccer goalkeeper Bijan Gloston (Clarksville, Tenn.) was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the team's 2-1 win against No.15 New Mexico Nov. 1, the league announced Monday.
Gloston served as the vocal leader in the win against the Lobos, recording seven saves and allowing just one goal in 90 minutes of action. Gloston has 52 saves this season and ranks ninth in the NCAA and first in Conference USA with 5.63 saves per game.
Gloston joins fellow goalkeeper Dominik Reining as the only Marshall players to win the award this season.
