Men's Soccer Earns Sixth Seed in C-USA Tournament

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- Marshall's men's soccer team will face the No. 22 UAB Blazers in the first round of the Conference USA tournament on Nov. 12 in Norfolk, Va., the conference announced tonight. Marshall will be the No. 6 seed in the tournament, while UAB clinched the No. 3 spot.
The Herd concluded its regular season Saturday with a 4-1 win against Concord and finishes its regular season with a 7-8-3, 3-4-1 record. The team has won three consecutive games entering the tournament, including a 2-1 win against No. 15 New Mexico.
The winner will face the victor of No. 2 seed Kentucky against No. 7 seed South Carolina on Friday, Nov. 14 at 4:30 p.m. A complete bracket is available here. Information for how to watch and follow the tournament can be found on the Conference USA Championship Central page.
The Herd played the Blazers on October 18th, a match that the Blazers won 7-2.
