Herd Softball Hitting and Pitching Clinics Kick Off Sept. 9

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall softball has announced a series of "Fall Hitting and Pitching Clinics" that will run with a series of six dates from Sept. 9 through Oct. 16.
Registration in the camp is open for players of all ages. The cost is $35 per session, or $175 for all six sessions.
Hitters that attend the camps will receive training in swing fundamentals through a series of coordinated drills and a look at situational hitting for many crucial game situations. Swings will also be examined through video to analyze each swing.
Pitchers attending the camps will learn ways to increase speed, work on proper mechanics for every pitch a player needs, including fastball, changeup, curveballs, drops and more. Each camper will also learn daily workout steps to stay in shape during and in-between seasons. Campers will also gain experience by throwing to live hitters.
The camp sessions will be held on these dates: September 9, 16, 23 and 30 and October 7 and 14.
