Herd Softball Swings Into Home Fall Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- The Thundering Herd softball team will open up its first two home games at Dot Hicks Field this Saturday. The team will play against University of Charleston Saturday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. and Shawnee State at 3:00 p.m. Recaps will be available following the games. Live tweets will be available @HerdSB.
University of Charleston and Shawnee State will play the first game at 10:00 am.

Starting the fall season off undefeated, Marshall is 3-0 in its exhibition season after defeating Miami (OH), Cedarville, and Ohio last weekend.
Last season, the Herd won six straight games on the way to its third straight Conference USA Championship game. The Herd went on to lose the final to Tulsa 8-0 and finished 28-31 in 2014.
