Big Green and M Club to host volleyball reunion weekend

Huntington, W.Va. ââ'¬" The Big Green Scholarship Foundation and M Club announce the Volleyball Reunion weekend taking place this weekend, October 9-11.
This is the 10 year anniversary of the 2005 Conference USA Volleyball Championship, the first C-USA title for Marshall University.
The reunion weekend has activities for all volleyball alumni, as well as some that specifically recognize members of the 2005 squad.
Marshall Volleyball plays Friday, October 9th at 11:30 a.m. as Huntington schools are invited to Marshall Volleyball's annual Education and Field Trip Day. This year's theme is Anti-Bullying and will include an educational presentation and awareness for students following the game. Admission is free for all.
Friday afternoon, prior to the Marshall vs. Southern Miss football game, there will be a Volleyball Tailgate in the East Lot. The 2005 team members present will then be recognized on the field during the 1st Quarter of the game.
There will be a Volleyball Reception on Saturday, October 10, at La Famiglia Restaurant in Huntington, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. All Marshall Volleyball Alumni are invited to attend, and the current Marshall Volleyball team will be in attendance.
The reunion weekend concludes Sunday at 1:00 p.m. with Marshall Volleyball taking on the Mean Green of North Texas.
