HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall junior forward Ryan Taylor (Indianapolis) is one of 10 student-athletes named to the 2015-16 Preseason All-Conference USA team, the league announced Wednesday.

A 2015 All-C-USA third team selection, Taylor led the league with 14 double-doubles, including a streak of seven from Jan. 22 through Feb. 14. He was the Herd's leading scorer (14.1 ppg) and rebounder (8.6 rpg) and posted career-highs of 18 rebounds and eight assists in a non-conference game at then-No. 7 Louisville.

"Last year, Ryan changed his entire game and became a complete player; in other words, a ball-handling point forward," second-year Herd coach Dan D'Antoni said. "He can handle the basketball from the 3-point line-out to the paint-in. He plays the full gamut of the game, from rebounding to 3-point shooting to posting up and passing. I expect a lot out of him. He's a leader of the team. I think he's grown as a leader, mentally, and he'll keep these guys focused so that we can have a really good season."

Marshall was picked ninth in the 14-team preseason poll.
