Dan D'Antoni, head coach
Opening statement
"Great game, great fans, lots of fun. As a coach you can't beat a better atmosphere than this. That's why I coach and why I've always coached, and kind of why I've always liked Huntington. It's a great situation, but I did see some empty seats still open, but I am hopeful we will fill those. The energy is awesome for home court and I thought our players felt that energy and came out and do things we see a lot in practice everyday that they couldn't get it on the floor for a game. I'm proud of the kids and I thought we saw some good basketball and I hope the people enjoy it."

On how the team has grown over the past few weeks
"You just play every game, you can see we are getting some experience. It's fun. It's not like you are pulling teeth. You go out and have a good time on the court. Tuesday we will watch film and it will be fun to go and play. It's a great time in your life as a coach and as a player."

On DeVince Boykins contribution off the bench
"He is a great kid. Sometimes things don't happen for you like you want, but he never wavered as a person. That's one of the biggest things I was looking for when I came back here and he typifies that. I like to take credit but it's all on him and he deserves the pats on the back."

Austin Loop, redshirt sophomore guard
On how he feels his threes help the team's momentum
"I think me getting looks like that is huge for us not only the scoring aspect, but I know in the second half they started shading me a little bit more and that opens the floor up for everyone else. If they're guarding the middle hard then I'm getting shots and vise versa. "

On how more dangerous the Herd's offense becomes when everyone is making shots
"If you got me hitting, Justin [Edmonds] knocking down threes, then you got Ryan [Taylor], and even JP [Kambola] can step out. Coach [D'Antoni] wants everybody to shoot so when it comes game time you have to respect us when we shoot outside. That opens up the offense so much and it's tough to guard."

Ryan Taylor, redshirt sophomore forward
On the differences between the two games vs. WKU
"We shot better from the field and the free throw line. Our crowd was a big difference tonight and everyone got involved and everyone was locked-in. We just played well. We got pick and rolls, we got dunks, we got open shots and there was a lot of energy in the building and on the bench which helped us a lot."

On the team's confidence level
"It's sky high. We don't want to be over-confident or cocky, but I feel like we are playing really good basketball right now. We won our last five out of six games and I feel like we are sharing the ball and everyone is getting involved, form people on the bench to people in the game to even our home crowd. I think there is a lot of energy on our team and we are playing really good basketball."

DeVince Boykins, junior guard
On what he was feeling after his big dunks
"I just came in with confidence, just being in the right place at the right time and my teammates found me. It was just a feeling of joy when I got that dunk and it was a big momentum swinger and it got the crowd involved and it's just a great feeling. My teammates told me to keep it up and don't stop playing and get back on defense and get another steal and get another dunk and just keep pushing the tempo."
