Game One of @HerdSB Vs WKU Halted

The Marshall softball team's game against Western Kentucky has been halted in the bottom of the 10th inning due to persistent rain. The two teams will start again tomorrow at 1 p.m. and are tentatively set to play games two and three of the series (originally scheduled for noon and 2 p.m.) as well.

The score of the first game is tied at zero, with Marshall's Jordan Dixon (13)and Western Kentucky's Miranda Kramer (15) combining for 28 strikeouts in a pitcher's duel.

When the game resumes, there will be two outs, with Marshall's Rebecca Myslenski on base and Emileigh Cooper at bat.
