Herd Finishes Action at 3M Jaguar Intercollegiate

Final Results
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Senior Korakot Simsiriwong (Narathiwat, Thailand) finished 14th as an individual to lead Marshall women's golf in the final round of the 3M Jaguar Intercollegiate at Forest Hills Golf Club on Sunday.
Simsiriwong shot a 2-over-par 73 to bring her three-day total to 9-over 222. She carded the second-most pars of any player with 38 over 54 holes.
The Thundering Herd posted a 27-over 311 in the final round to finish 11th at 83-over 935.
ON THE LEADERBOARD
Led by individual champion No. 76 Lena Schaeffner (4-under 209), No. 43 Coastal Carolina claimed the team victory with a 4-over 867. The Chanticleers finished six strokes ahead of runner-up Kennesaw State (21-over 873).

"As a whole this week the girls' short games let them down. When they hit great shots into greens they have to capitalized as well as make those clutch par putts on up and downs. I'm very proud of them and how they are buying into the changing culture. It just takes time and they are making progress each day. This team is very close to putting up some very low rounds. As we move on we know that our short games have to improve. We now have a few weeks until Georgetown and we will be able to practice outside which will be a big help. I'm excited to see what the rest of this season will bring."
On Korakot Simsiriwong:
"Gone [Simsiriwong] finished 14th this week and played well. She is hitting the ball very solid and once her putts start falling she is going to win."
