HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- The Marshall women's golf team will compete at the Murray State Invitational, its final event before the Conference USA Championship, on Friday and Saturday at Miller Memorial Golf Course.

HAVE YOU HERD?
With a top finish of 20th by senior Sarah Helly (Enniscrone, Ireland), Marshall completed action at the Chattanooga Classic at Council Fire Golf Club on Tuesday. After carding an 8-over-par 80 final round, Helly completed the tournament at 15-over 231, followed by teammate Korakot Simsiriwong (Narathiwat, Thailand) who finished one stroke back at 16-over 232 in 22nd. The Thundering Herd posted a team score of 75-over 939 for fifth place.

Participating teams (11): Austin Peay, Belmont, Butler, Cincinnati, Marshall, Morehead State, Murray State, SIU Edwardsville, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, Xavier.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The 11-team field will tee off on Friday morning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and play 36 holes, with the final 18 holes starting on Saturday at 8:30 a.m.Â
