Camp Brochure and Rec Center Waiver
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall softball has announced summer and fall clinics designed to help players of all ages sharpen their skills in the off-season.
Current and former Marshall players and coaches will provide instruction at all camps.
The Summer All Skills Camp is open for any and all participants (K-8th grade.) The two day camp will last from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. on July 27 and 28. Lunch will be served on campus and an afternoon swim at Marshall's Recreation Center is included as well. The camp is $75 per day, or $130 for both days.
Marshall will also provide team scrimmage camps, which will provide in-game experience and competitive drills. Camp staff will be on the field to provide coaching during the games. These camps are available for any and all participants based on team age group. The cost of the camp is $55 per player. To secure a date, contact the softball office at 304-696-4370.
Fall clinics will include a Hitting and Pitching Academy, which is a 4-6 week program designed to enhance hitting and pitching techniques to develop a more complete player. More information on the program will be announced on August 1. Space in the program will be limited.
The Thundering Herd will also offer the Fall Elite Prospect Camp, which is designed for any and all participants (grades 8-12). The camp will provide advanced and intense instruction and allow players to showcase and hone skills through scrimmage play. The date of the camp will also be announced on August 1, so please check the softball page on herdzone.com.
Please print, fill out and return the enclosed camp registration form AND Recreational Center waiver to Marshall Softball, P.O. Box 1360, Huntington, W.V. 25755. Please include your $25 non-refundable deposit and make checks payable to Marshall Softball.
