ESPNU Picks Up @HerdMBB-WVU Game

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The annual Chesapeake Energy Capital Classic game between Marshall and West Virginia men's basketball will be televised nationally by ESPNU with a 7 p.m. tip time on Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Civic Center in Charleston, W.Va.
The meeting has been hosted at a neutral site on an annual basis since the 1991-92 season. Last season, Marshall fell by three points to the 21st-ranked Mountaineers, 69-66, on Dec. 14, 2014, in Charleston.
WVU is one of three power-conference opponents featured on the Herd's 2015 slate. Marshall will open regular season play at Tennessee on Nov. 19, and will face Maryland in College Park on Dec. 27. To view the complete 2015-16 Thundering Herd men's basketball schedule, visit HerdZone.com.
