Herd Cross Country Releases 2016 Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.-Marshall men's and women's cross country coach Jeff Small has released the Thundering Herd's 2016 schedule.
Marshall will begin the 2016 campaign on Friday September 2nd at the Morehead State Eagle Opener in Morehead, Kentucky.
After a week off, the team will return to a familiar meet in the Commodore Classic hosted by Vanderbilt University on September 17th in Nashville, Tennessee. The Herd has ran in this meet five of the last six seasons.
On September 30th, the team will travel to the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.
The last regular season meet for the Herd will be October 14th at the High Point University Vert Invitational in Kernersville, North Carolina.
The C-USA Championships will take place in Charlotte, North Carolina, with host Charlotte welcoming the rest of the Conference USA on October 29th.
The Herd will then look to the postseason with the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships slated for November 11th, in State College, Pennsylvania, hosted by Penn State University. The NCAA Championships are set for eight days later on November 19th in Terre Haute, Indiana, hosted by Indiana State.
