Marshall Women's Golf to Compete in NKU Fall Classic

BATAVIA, Ohio - The Marshall women's golf team hits the road for a two-day, three-round tournament in the NKU Fall Classic. Eight teams are set to compete with two rounds Monday, Sept. 12, and a final round Tuesday, Sept. 13.
The NKU Fall Classic is the second tournament of the 2016 fall season for Marshall. The Herd won its first tournament of the year at the Thundering Herd Kickoff on Aug. 29. Marshall defeated Eastern Kentucky by one stroke.
The Herd will be competing against Chicago State, Dayton, Detroit, Green Bay, Oakland, Youngstown State and the host school Northern Kentucky.
The tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday with a shotgun start and the players will go through 36 holes of continuous play. The final round will begin 9 a.m. Tuesday, also with a shotgun start. The Elks Run Golf Club is a par 71 course.
