COACH'S CORNER
Assistant Coach Thomas Olivierââ'¬Â¦
"It was a typical midweek non-conference game for us tonight, the kind of games we like to play. We felt like we were prepared for their style of play and we wanted to keep their influential players at bay. They had been scoring goals at a torrid pace the last three games."
"We felt good coming out at halftime but we let a big chunk of the second half get away from us and couldn't re-establish a good rhythm. We had a couple missed chances in the first half come back and bite us in the end. Credit their players for finding a way to grind out a win at home."
"This week can be a good psychological test of our character and resolve, though, as we head to UAB this weekend. We need to be prepared and respond Saturday."
